Gateway

We recently visited Kloovenburg Wine Estate in Riebeek Kasteel – what a revelation! Warm and inviting. Superb wines. (Loved the Sauvignon Blanc, Shiraz and the Eight Feet Blend). Most divine olive oil. And so many tasty olive-based products. I’m sure to visit again! The farm belonged to Piet du Toit,  a Springbok rugby player from 1958 – 1961. Pieter du Toit and family is now running this lovely wine and olive farm. This picture of the gateway was taken on 9 July 2011.
