Perfect day

Two weeks ago we were greeted by the most wonderful summers day in the midst of our Winter. We decided to drive through to Hermanus where we enjoyed lunch with our family. On our way back home I persuaded my husband to stop for ice cream in Gordons Bay. And then, as we were driving down Beach Road in the Strand, the sun started setting behind Table Mountain. There was no time to stop, so I opened the window and took the picture while on the go. The perfect ending to a perfect day! The picture was taken 26 July 2009.
